The Monster of the Andes – Serial Killer of Hundreds Is Walking Free

There is one man who should be known all over the world for his awful acts against humanity, society and more than 300 people, mostly women. Pedro Lopez, a Columbian citizen who has travelled around Latin America because he’s been caught and released by many authorities. The monster of the Andes, as he’s known in the region, has confessed to killing “100 girls in Colombia, 11 in Ecuador and more than 100 in Peru”. Being imprisoned as a car thief in Colombia in 1978, he would be the most improbable culprit if we judge based on what we see on TV. The fact that he was harassed while in jail and had to save himself by murdering the four men who did it to him, unlocked his true identity. Why he went on murdering females is what we cannot comprehend, though it was mainly because he felt stronger against them.
The final judgment he received as a serial killer, and just the second one, happened when 1994 he was sued, but found insane. Four years later he was released from the psychiatric institution as sane and is running free even now… if someone hasn’t decided his life as he did to 300 people.
